To try to simplify things, analog cameras are the traditional cameras you would see in a store, whereas IP Cameras are part camera and part computer. Like a computer, IP Cameras connect to a network. They use the same type of wire that you would use to connect to the Internet, and the cameras are configurable with a computer. You can access them from anywhere, anytime, and they’re super versatile in functionality.

“The Cloud” is a term used to describe data being stored in a location other than your local hard drive. Storing your video in “The Cloud” makes it easily accessible from anywhere, while keeping it safe and secure.

We’ve bundled our services into what we call City Smart Solutions™ to make it easier for you to find exactly what it is you’re looking for in a video surveillance system. Although each of our solutions is generally tailored for a specific sector, they can be tweaked and customized to your every need.

Absolutely not. Our aim is to make video surveillance as easy as it could possibly be for the end user (that’s you). We design our systems so that once they are up and running, all you have to do is sit back and watch.

No you don’t! We can take your existing video surveillance system, and upgrade your hardware to perform the way you want it to.

A video encoder is an IP camera without a lens. Using a video encoder with an analog camera essentially turns that regular old surveillance camera into a brand new IP camera.

With City Smart you can access your video feeds from anywhere using any web browser, smart phone, or tablet.

When it comes to your video feeds, you have total control over who has access to them, and which cameras they can see.

A Virtual Trigger, or a V-Trigger is a virtual switch that can automatically turn on or off based on events that you choose.

When a V-Trigger is set off, we can tailor the response to your needs.

These include options like: storing information in a database, sending an alert via SMS or E-Mail, or sending the video feed directly to a central monitoring and dispatch center

Everyone has different needs, and so for that reason, each of our solutions is customized and tailored for every client. That being said, prices vary, so feel free to get in touch, and we’ll be glad to give you a rough estimate, or a detailed quote!
